Below you will find the 1st edition of Patrick S. Dinneen's Irish-English Dictionary (Foclóir Gaedhilge agus Béarla) published in 1904. The Dictionary as such is now in the public domain. After some years (1975–1982) as a placenames officer in the Ordnance Survey Dublin followed by three years in Hong Kong dedicated to studying Chinese language and literature, he returned to Andorra where he had already spent the period 1966–1972 as a language teacher. From 1985 until his retirement in December 2008 he acted as an official sworn translator in the Principality. He died in January 2014.
