joints let them be digested by this medicine: take extract of yew one pound; yellow bugle, and ragwort, of each item one fistful, iris, eryngo, lily roots, acorus, endive, maidenhair, and adiantum, of each item one half fistful; camomile flowers, mellilotus, maratrum, bruscus seed, and asparagus, of each item one ounce; rose, licorice which has been washed, lettuce seed, of each item one half ounce; honey and sugar of each one pound.
