If the imposthume be phlegmatic or watery, let the matter be digested with the roots of smallage and radishes, and with watercress, hyssop, calamint, liquorice, and honey; let it also be purged with agaric, and again repeat the clyster, and the vomit. Then apply to them things that penetrate, as are southernwood, boiled in wine and vinegar.
