The Training of Cúchulainn (Author: unknown)

section 32

Thereafter anger with the barbers came to Cúchulainn, and he seized his arms and began killing and deranging them; and he cut off all their heads and put them on the gates of the fort under the feet of the hosts, so that fear of him might be the greater. And the thrice fifty hardy and valiant champions who were opposite Scáthach's door8 fell by him in like manner.
