paragraph 10

Terrified by these things, I turned to others and found Augustine, who is called 'Water from the Clouds', explaining this verse from the Psalter: The sun will not burn you during the day, nor the moon during the night.’’

Ps. 120:6

He who thinks evil of Christ is burnt by the sun during the day, and he who thinks evil of the Church by the moon during the night.’’

Augustinus, In Iohannem 17:3 (CCSL 36: 171)
