Battle of Druim Dergaighe gained over Foilge Berraidhe by Fiachaidh, son of Niall, on account of which the plain of Midhe was taken from the Lagenians, as Cendfaeladh sang:—

    1. The seven years' vengeance of God
      It was that tamed his heart;
      The battle in the Droma Dergaighe—
      By it the plain of Midhe was lost.
