Uilliam O Fergail, chieftain of Annaly, died.

Domnall Buide son of Domnall son of Seaan O Fergail set himself up as chieftain and the posterity of Murchad set up Rosa son of Muirchertach Midech son of Brian O Fergail in opposition to him. Much damage was done between them and the chieftainship was ultimately left in the possession of Domnall.
