Henry Butler, Lord of the Owles, and Hodge Medbric were killed by Cathal son of Conchobar Ruad [O Conchobair] and the Connacht princes this year.

Aed O Conchobair broke down the castle of Roscommon.

Tadc Dall son of Aed mac Cathail Chrobdeirg, the most eligible successor to the kingship in his province, till he was blinded by the Ui Raigillig, died.

Muirgius son of Donnchad son of Tomaltach O Mailruanaid, eminent throughout Ireland for bounty and valour, died at Murvagh.
