Cairpri Ua Mail-Sechlainn, king of Meath, the most noble-deeded youth that was in Ireland in his time, was killed (by Mac Cochlan).

A hosting, by Domnall, son of Briain Ua Neill, into Cenel-Eogain, so that he put Niall Ua Neill (namely, Niall Culanach) by force therefrom and took the kingship himself by power of his force.
