A naval force of the foreigners went on Loch Éirne, and they ravaged the islands of the lake and the surrounding peoples, to and fro. They left Loch Éirne in the summer following.

Foreigners went on Loch Cuan and Mael Dúin son of Aed, heir designate of the Province, fell by them. A great new fleet of the foreigners foundered at Fertas Rudraige, and nine hundred or more were drowned.

Gothfrith, grandson of Ímar, made an expedition from Áth Cliath to Luimnech, and a very large company of his followers were left behind dead with Ailche's son.
