Notes

(Meyer 268). Donnchadh Ó Corrá has suggested that this miscellany of social comments and wisdom texts dates from the Old and Middle Irish period.

In three places he records a u with breve, which represents bh: line 1, n-íathoi[ubreve]; line 3 gar[ubreve]. line 18 i[ubreve]idh. This letter has been replaced by 'bh' at CELT. Editorial corrections and expansions are marked. Hyphenation and word separation have been brought in line with CELT practice.
