Gan crodh do ghabhail na sárugud. Gan duini d'éra im shéd ná im biadh. Gan teitheadh ré nonbur laech do gach fir díb.

¶2] Ní gabthái fer díb sin isin bhféin nó a mórdáil Uisnigh {MS Egerton 1782 folio 25b1} nó a nóenach Taillten nó a féis Temroch nó go tucdais a n-aitri ocus a máitri a tuatha ocus a finedha slána tairrsib cidh in uair sin do muibfithe iad gan a n-agra. Ar dáigh ná beith a súil re nech eli dá ndíghuilt acht iad fén. ocus cid iad som do derna mór-olca gan aithi ar a muinteraib.

¶3] Ní gabhthai fer díb so co mbo rífili dá leabar déc na filidhechta. Ní gabtha fer díb fós co nderntái latharlog mór co roiched fillidh a uathróigi. Ocus no chuirthe ann é ocus a sciath les ocus fad láime do chronn chuill. Ocus nónbar laech iar sin chuigi co nái sleguib leo ocus deich nimuiri atturru co ndibruigidís i n-óinfecht é.
