Normalization

The electronic text represents the edited text. 'Instances of 'ye, yt, ys' were changed to 'the, that, this', and 'wch' to 'which'. Spelling, capitalization and punctuation in the text are uneven. Punctuation has been normalized silently on some occasions. In two cases inscriptions have been omitted, but readers may consult the digitized version on www. archive.org.

Direct speech is rendered q.

Hyphenation

Soft hyphens are silently removed. Words containing a hard or soft hyphen crossing a page-break or line-break have been placed on the line on which they start.
