Item the man who has frequent nightmares perceives592 it by apoplexy, or paralysis, or epilepsy. Item he who suffers from jumping593 in the body (throbbing?) usually accompanied by weakness, and confusion of perception, and stupor of the members, is ripe for paralysis, unless the phlegmatic humours be purged.
