Brian son of Muirguis Mac Diarmata was killed by his own people.

Cormac son of Donnchad son of Mag Carthaig Riabach was taken prisoner by Cormac son of Tadc son of Cormac son of Diarmait the Stout of Muskerry and by the sons of Diarmait of the Fortress, sons of his own father's brother. In consequence of this, war spread throughout Munster and all the South was destroyed, Gall and Gael.

Gerald son of the Earl of Desmond was killed. Eighteen Fitz Geralds were destroyed after this.

The son of Uaithne O Morda was killed at Ballydavis by Mac Piarais Butler and Art O Conchobair.

A great wind on the eve of St. John the Evangelist this year, which demolished many stone and wooden buildings and crannogs and ricks all over Ireland.
