Muirchertach O Conchobair Failgi and Maelmorda his brother, i.e. the Calbach O Conchobair, and twenty-nine of the nobles of their people were killed with hideous treachery by Sir Piarus Mac Feorais at Carbury Castle.

Aed son of Cathal O Conchobair and all the Clan Murtagh defeated the Muinter Raigillig. Here fell Pilip O Raigillig and the heirs of the Clann Suibne and Mac Burrce, captain of the gallowglasses of the country, and a hundred and forty others along with them.
