Magnus O Conchobair inflicted a great defeat on Adam Cusack and the Galls of West Connacht at Lecc Esa Dara, where many were killed and where Colin Cusack, Adam's brother, was taken prisoner after his men had been slaughtered in order to let him get away.

Pilib Mac Gosdelb routed Magnus O Conchobair's followers at the Ox Mountains, where many of the young levies and rabble were killed.
