A general invitation came from Rome in the time of Pope Boniface VIII. throughout all Christendom and every hundredth year comes that invitation and the Year of Grace is its name. And a countless host from all countries of Christendom went on that invitation on their pilgrimage to Rome and remission of all their sins was obtained by them.
